How to Future-Proof Your Career in 2 Weeks
Q: Are you still using ChatGPT or Claude like it's a glorified Google search? 🤔 Here’s why that might be a problem.
AI skill demand has grown 1,300% in the past year, according to JobLeads—and it's on track to become as standard as knowing Excel.
Knowing how to type a decent prompt isn't the flex it used to be—everyone's doing that now. The real advantage is knowing how to actually build with AI. 🧰
Leland's AI Builder Program is a live, cohort-based course made for non-technical people who want to build real things—an automated inbox, a polished deck from a messy spreadsheet, a workflow that runs while you sleep. No code required.
Use code GIRLBOSS199 to enroll for just $199 (normally $999). Spots are limited for the next cohort, so don't sleep on this one.

August’s Cosmic Forecast: Plot Twists Ahead! 🔮
Welcome back to Astro Moment, a monthly cosmic check-in with our friends at CHANI. On the first Wednesday of every month, you’ll get the 411 on what’s written in the stars and how it might shape your work life for the month ahead. Here’s what’s in store for August. 🌌
Forget business as usual. This month serves up one curveball after another (as if the recent Mercury retrograde didn’t kick our asses enough). It all starts with the solar eclipse in Leo on August 12—the first of its kind since 2008.
Solar eclipses bring ego bruises, if not full-on falls from grace. In general, that could look like leaders getting their comeuppance, or more personally, it could have you shedding pridefulness or checking your main character syndrome at the door. One thing is certain: The more you center the collective over individual interests this eclipse season, the easier time you’ll have.
Then comes the Pisces eclipse on August 27, which wraps up a story related to ambition and letting go that you’ve been living out since September of 2024. Whatever that story may be, this day brings the final chapter—but not without a plot twist.
That’s because the eclipse is opposite a Mercury cazimi (when the messenger planet meets up with the Sun and delivers key information). And it’s all under the influence of Uranus (the planet of disruption). So, expect surprising news to drop and avoid stacking your calendar if you can.
The best way to prep for this brand of chaos is to underschedule yourself. You’ll need the time and space to pivot.
✍️ Your August journal prompt
What have I been striving after, fixated on, or focused on achieving since 2024? How is this chapter coming to a close, and what has it taught me?

🍏 Contributing Writer Lara is totally hooked on wildwonder’s new Apple Yuzu probiotic soda, which is officially in stores today! It tastes exactly like biting into a super crisp apple (it’s uncanny!), and she especially loves the refreshing hint of shiso leaf.
💦 There’s a reason why OSEA's Body Hydration Heroes are Allure Best of Beauty winners. The seaweed-powered duo—an ultra-hydrating body oil and a hyaluronic-packed serum—gives you that glowy, post-vacation summer skin. Use code GIRLBOSS for 10% off.*
🔥 Damn, we didn’t know how badly we needed a Zara Larsson x Robyn collab until “Talk To Me, Zara” altered our brain chemistry.
🍿 Lara’s already booked her tickets to see Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma in theaters this weekend! It stars Hannah Einbinder as a queer director making a slasher franchise sequel and Gillian Anderson as the original film's "final girl.” Psychological and sexual chaos ensues.
