Lara here, Girlboss’ contributing writer. 👋
Happy Verity weekend to all who celebrate! 🔥 The new erotic thriller starring Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, and Josh Hartnett is out this weekend (I already have my tickets lol 🤪), and while I’m not expecting it to be the best film I’ve ever seen, I am ready for an absurd sexy thrill ride that only the twisted mind of Colleen Hoover could concoct. 💀
Which got me thinking… the erotic thriller genre really does not get enough respect. 😤 Where would we be as a society without the contributions of Fatal Attraction, Basic Instinct, or Eyes Wide Shut, FFS?!
Today we’re doing a deep dive into the erotic thriller genre, and why it deserves your attention this October. ❤️🔥
Other stuff the Girlboss team is yapping about on Slack:

We found your new signature fall scent. This one from NEST NEW YORK smells like sipping tea in a cozy little café.*
