Victoria here, Girlboss’ executive editor. 👋

Did you watch or listen to the controversial podcast episode from Interesting Times, a New York Times podcast, that dropped last week—originally titled “Did Women Ruin the Workplace?” (yikes), then quickly rebranded to “Did Liberal Feminism Ruin the Workplace?” (also yikes)?

It’s getting torn apart online—as it should. 🙄

It features two right-leaning thinkers, Helen Andrews and Leah Libresco Sargeant, who argue that the modern workplace is broken because of feminism, but for completely different reasons. Andrews claims that feminism “feminized” our institutions, making them overly emotional and conflict-averse, while Sargeant argues that feminism forced women to act like men and suppress their “nature” as mothers and caregivers.

Listen at your own risk.
