Have you seen The Odyssey yet? 🧿 I have, and I was disappointed AF!
Not in the epic battle scenes, or the mind-boggling practical effects, or the stunning cinematography (that was all great 🙂↕️), but in the representations of women, or lack thereof, to be specific. 🙂↔️ The movie doesn’t even pass the Bechdel Test FFS! Today, I’m unpacking why that matters, even for a movie set in 1200 BCE (no spoilers, don’t worry!).
