Earlier this week, we did a deep dive into a new hybrid-work hierarchy that’s emerging, as reported by The Wall Street Journal, where top-performing employees get to opt out of return-to-office mandates. 👀 Unsurprisingly, we found that working moms, the one group who benefits the most from remote work, are the ones who could suffer the most from these mandates. 🤬 That’s because going above and beyond performance quotas to “earn” WFH privileges is especially impossible when you’re carrying the mental load of unpaid domestic work at home on your metaphorical (and literal!) shoulders.
