If You’re Too Busy

We’re pretty sure time travel is impossible, but somehow, it’s 2009 again! That’s right, it’s time to break out the metallic fringe skinny scarf collecting dust in the back of your closet and pop a BumpIt in your hair for an XXL bouffant that would make Snooki proud.

According to new data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, a record 8.9 million Americans are working multiple jobs. That’s about 5.4% of all employed workers—the last time it was this high was in April 2009 during the Great Recession!!! 😰 But wait, it might actually be higher than that, according to Bankrate. More than 1 in 3 Americans earn money from a side hustle and 32% think they’ll always need one.

So, where does this leave some of us? Overworked, underpaid, and barely able to stay afloat.
